英語演講角 | 如何尊重女性

“Women, they have minds and they have souls, as well as just hearts. They’ve got ambition, they’ve got talent, as well as just beauty. I’m so sick of people saying that love is just all a woman is fit for.” All in all, the most direct way to respect women is to let them choose their own way as they wish.

“女人，她們有思想，有靈魂，也有心靈。她們有雄心，有才華，還有美貌。我討厭人們說女人只適合愛。”總之，尊重女性最直接的方式就是讓她們選擇自己想要的方式。

If men don’t have to be aggressive in order to be accepted, women won’t feel compelled to be submissive. If men don’t have to control, women won’t have to be controlled.

如果男性不再為了被認(rèn)可而變得強(qiáng)勢(shì)好斗，女性也不會(huì)再感到被迫逆來順受。如果男性不再被迫掌控一切，女性也不會(huì)再被迫受掌控。

Nowadays, the movement of female equality is still going on. It can be easily found that women are still suffering inequality even though they’ve got an achievement, and many men still hold a traditional thought that women should stay at home and listen to their orders. Now, I appeal to all the people to change their mind that women can only be women. Don’t let efforts made by the former heroines in vain.

如今，女性平權(quán)運(yùn)動(dòng)仍在繼續(xù)。我們經(jīng)?？吹竭@種現(xiàn)象：就算女性取得成就，他們?nèi)匀辉谠馐苤还拇觥Ｄ行詡內(nèi)匀还淌刂约旱膫鹘y(tǒng)思想：女性就應(yīng)該在家，聽從他們的安排?，F(xiàn)在，我號(hào)召所有人去改變“女性只能做女性應(yīng)該做的事情”的思想。不要讓那些女權(quán)英雄的努力付諸東流。

Women should be treated fairly. Nowadays, women play an important part in our society. For example, more and more women are taking on essential roles, such as company executives, software engineers, and politicians.

婦女應(yīng)當(dāng)?shù)玫焦綄?duì)待。如今，越來越多的婦女在社會(huì)中扮著重要的角色，她們中有的是公司高管、軟件工程師，以及政治家。

Sometimes, women can even do a lot of things better than men, for they are more careful, patient, and responsible. Now there have been so many women leaders and scientists in the world. Accordingly, we shouldn’t look down upon women. Instead, men and women should be given the equal right and chance to study and work, so that they can do some even greater contributions to our nation.

有時(shí)候，很多事情女人甚至能比男人做得更好，因?yàn)樗齻兏?xì)心、更耐心、更有責(zé)任心?，F(xiàn)在世界上已經(jīng)有很多的女性領(lǐng)導(dǎo)人和科學(xué)家。因此，我們不應(yīng)該看不起女性。相反，男性和女性應(yīng)該擁有平等的權(quán)利和機(jī)會(huì)來學(xué)習(xí)和工作，這樣她們才能為國(guó)家做出更大的貢獻(xiàn)。

I hope there will be no more discrimination against women. Men and women should be equal. I sincerely hope that everybody can abandon his prejudice after listening to my speech.

我希望對(duì)婦女不再有歧視。男女應(yīng)該平等。我真誠地希望大家聽了我的演講后摒棄對(duì)女性的偏見。

Stop assuming that women have no right or ability to be independent. They also have dreams, they have their rights to chase them.

不要再認(rèn)為女性沒有獨(dú)立的權(quán)利或能力，她們也有夢(mèng)想，并且有權(quán)利去追逐夢(mèng)想。

Women is not the slave of men. It sounds ridiculous, but in the whole human history, we can find that there are a lot of people who treat women like slaves, which is really ridiculous.

女人不是男人的奴隸，這聽起來很荒謬，但在整個(gè)人類歷史上，我們可以發(fā)現(xiàn)有很多人把婦女當(dāng)作奴隸對(duì)待，確實(shí)很荒謬。

Firstly, helping mothers with housework is highly recommended, which can relieve their burden. Meanwhile, studying diligently and wholeheartedly at school is a good way to express our appreciation.

首先，強(qiáng)烈建議大家?guī)椭赣H做家務(wù)，這樣可以減輕她們的負(fù)擔(dān)。同時(shí)，在學(xué)校勤奮、全心全意地學(xué)習(xí)也是我們表達(dá)感激之情的一種很好的方式。
