Anyway, I felt really glad and happy to have the opportunity to take part in that volunteer work, mainly because it allowed me to see some smiles on the faces of some innocent children, which was just priceless.

Be friendly. Treat others like friends, and they will do the same for you. As a volunteer, you might meet new people who you want to make friends with. You might even meet someone who will be your friends for the rest of your life.

We can put what we have learned into practice when we help others. For instance, when we show foreigners directions in English, we practice our oral English.

When you give a hand to someone in need and see their lives become better because of your kindness, you may feel a sense of satisfaction and improve your own abilities at the same time.
