英語演講角 | 人工智能是威脅還是機遇？

人工智能是當(dāng)今世界發(fā)展的新產(chǎn)物，也是時下最熱門的詞匯之一，它遍布社會的每個角落，深刻影響著人們生活的方方面面，但這種新型科技究竟對人們是利大于弊還是弊大于利需要人們認真探討和深入研究。

4月14日，我校以“人工智能是威脅還是機遇？（Is AI a threat or an opportunity?）”為主題的高中英語演講角（Speakers’Corner）如期舉行。高2021級10位同學(xué)參加了本次演講，學(xué)工部部長、高中英語教研組長譚文厚老師以及全體高二英語教師出席了本次活動，見證了各位演講者的風(fēng)采和我校高二同學(xué)們在英語學(xué)習(xí)方面的進步與成長。

周志朋

（高二1班）

However, today, we spent too much time on the drudgery of work, which will zap our time, creativity and energy. To reconnect to the soul of our work, we not only need a better way of doing the same things but also need a whole new way to work.

然而如今，我們花了太多的時間在繁重的工作上，這將消耗我們的時間、創(chuàng)造力和精力。為了重新感受到工作的靈魂，我們不僅僅需要一個更好的方式來做以前的工作，我們更需要培養(yǎng)一個完整的工作方式。

陳思聿

（高二4班）

Moreover, GPT is rolling out its hand to “Office” zone. For example, when we make a PowerPoint as usual, it costs much time. But 365 GPT can finish it in 10 seconds, including a lot of details, which benefits us a lot.

此外，GPT正在向“辦公區(qū)”推廣。例如，當(dāng)我們像往常一樣制作一個PowerPoint時，這通常會花費很多時間。但是365 GPT可以在10秒內(nèi)完成它，并在很多細節(jié)上盡善盡美，這會給我們帶來很多好處。

張瀚瀾

Moss does not have its own targets, but always replies like, “I never disobey my code but only on the road to execute it”, which is like a normal AI. However, in fact, it does not think or act like that.

莫斯沒有自己的目標(biāo)，總是機械地回答說：“我從不違反我的代碼，我總是在執(zhí)行它的路上。”，這看起來就像是一個普通的人工智能。然而，事實上，它并不像那樣呆板。

The reason why human beings are strong is that we have thoughts, compassion and belief. What shapes science and technology is human beings. It is us especially teenagers who are responsible for the future that should remain open and respectable for the coming AI era.

人類如此強大的原因在于，我們有思想、同情心和信仰。是人類塑造科學(xué)和技術(shù)，而對于即將到來的人工智能時代，尤其是我們青少年，應(yīng)該對其保持開放和尊敬的態(tài)度。

As for Chat GPT, it is invented by Open AI company. For the advantage, it can not only chat in human language, but also write essays and do translations. What is more, it can provide you with an almost perfect option based on your preferences.

至于Chat GPT，它是由Open AI公司發(fā)明的。此外，它不僅可以用人類的語言聊天，還可以寫文章和翻譯。更重要的是，它可以根據(jù)你提供的摘要文獻，為你編寫一個幾乎完美的論文。

In short, we cannot stop the development of artificial intelligence. As we use it to create a better life, we must build effective system for dealing with its risks. Make sure it can only benefit human beings not destroy them.

簡而言之，我們無法阻止人工智能的發(fā)展。如果我們想要利用它來創(chuàng)造更好的生活，那就必須建立有效的體系來應(yīng)對其風(fēng)險，確保它能造福人類，而不是摧毀。

Last but not least, the development of AI is a trend of time, thus nobody can avoid that. As a result, what we ought to do is try our best to get along with them.

最后最重要的一點是，人工智能的發(fā)展是時代的發(fā)展趨勢，沒有人能避免這一點。因此，我們應(yīng)該做的是盡力將人工智能融入我們的生活，而不是一味排斥。

Firstly, we should acquire more useful knowledge about AI and make full use of it. Secondly, we should use it more properly, and strike a balance between convenience and possible problems.

首先，我們應(yīng)該獲取更多關(guān)于人工智能有用的知識，并充分利用它。其次，我們應(yīng)該更恰當(dāng)?shù)厥褂盟⑴υ谥\取方便和面對可能出現(xiàn)的問題之間取得平衡。

A work of this scale would normally take over a year to complete by hand. However, with AI creation, it took him a surprising short period—only six weeks—to finish the whole work.

這種規(guī)模的工作，如果全靠人類，通常需要一年多的時間才能完成。然而，人工智能只用了短短六周時間，就完成了整個工作。

Recently, Chat GPT has gone various. Chat GPT is no longer just a chat robot, but can also finish tasks such as writing emails, video scripts, translation and code. It is almost capable of doing everything.

最近，Chat GPT已經(jīng)變得多種多樣。GPT不再只是一個聊天機器人，還可以完成寫郵件、視頻腳本、翻譯和代碼等任務(wù)。它幾乎可以做任何事情。
